Depression. It hurts, doesn't it? The root of it may be loneliness. God understands the power of loneliness. In the Garden of Eden you might remember that God said many things were good, but there was one thing that He declared was "not good" in the Garden. Man was alone. Therefore, God created woman and gave her to man (Adam). Why? God has never experienced loneliness.
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all One. He has enough of His divine essence to go around because He inhabits all things. When God created man He wanted to allow us join in this union. Jesus even prays about in John 17. Even now, as a Christian we have the Holy Spirit in us, the power of Christ in us, and the fellowship of our Heavenly Father with us! What could be better than that? Keep your head up. God will heal your hurts. Don’t give in. Don’t give up. God is with you.
