Give Thanks First

As we near to the end of October, our minds generally drift toward the next two major holidays: Christmas and Thanksgiving. While most of the world prepares for Christmas, remember that Thanksgiving comes first. As a Christian that should always be our motto. Give thanks first. I give thanks to God everyday for my church family here at Summerdale! I thank Him that He has allowed me to work with so many wonderful young people and to belong to a group of Christians that love the Lord and truly strive to serve Him. I am thankful that we serve such an awesome God who loves us unconditionally. I pray that we will enter this season of thankfulness and realize that we are so richly blessed. May each and every one of us be a blessing to someone each day! As always, remember you are loved!
