Forgiveness
One of the hardest things as a Christian is to forgive those who have wronged us. It is just human nature to hold a grudge and not want to forgive others. The problem is, when we refuse to forgive others, we are harming ourselves. You see, forgiveness is more for us than it is for those who need to be forgiven. Much More Prayer
This month our theme has been “Much More Prayer”. We all know that prayer is something we should do often , as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to “pray without ceasing”. Jesus even instructed us on how to pray. As Christians we know that pray is an essential part of our daily walk with God. So why is it so hard. I think like anything else; it takes practice. As an athlete in high school, I always heard the “practice makes perfect”. Now that I have got into coaching, I have lear

Good Ole Job
Many times, in life we go through situations that we don’t understand. We face trials that at the time we feel will break us. Last July I began such a trial. Most of you know that last July 22 my dad went to be with the Lord. Today, is the anniversary of the day we brought him home from the hospital. It was the beginning of a very tough and trying year. I still do not understand why this happened but as time has gone on, I have come to realize that God is in control. Job had

Hall of Fame of Faith
Last Sunday morning in our teen class we started a study looking at Hebrews chapter 11In it we read of the great “Hall of fame of Faith”. In it, we see heroes of faith that the writer brings to us as examples of faith and how we should live our lives. We read about people like, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and Issac and about how they were faithful to God. This got me thinking, who would I put in my “Hall of Fame of Faith”? For me, it would be my parents, my grandparents and senior
